Meetings and Papers


To view agendas and minutes click on 'Committees' and either select the current year or the year of the meeting you require   Alternatively click on 'Calendar' to view which meetings are scheduled and view the papers for a particular meeting, once they are published, by clicking on the meeting.

If you want to find the contact details for a Councillor, or find out more about each of the Councillors, including when they are holding their surgeries, click 'Councillors'

To view the Forward Plan of Key Decisions, and the Council's Constitution select 'Documents'  followed by ‘Public Documents’ from the menu above and then click on the relevant link (or document).

Following the adoption of new rules by the Council:

- Questions to be asked at Council, Cabinet and Committee meetings must be submitted by no later than 48 hours before the start of the meeting.

- Petitions to be submitted to the Council must also be submitted by no later than 48 hours before the start of the meeting.

Full copies of the rules can be seen as part of Council Procedure Rule 9 which forms part of the Council's Constitution which can be viewed under the Public Documents Section (Page 73).

Anybody wishing to speak on an agenda item at meetings of the Council, its Committees, Cabinet, or its sub-committees must give notice at least 15 minutes before the start of the meeting to Democratic Services.

Different rules apply to meetings of the Development Control Committee (Page 117 of the Constitution).
